4 cups oats- can use rolled or steel cut
2 cups wheat germ
1 cup each of almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, pistachios, puffed millet, puffed kamut, dried bluberries ( or cherries or currants, raisins etc..) add what YOU like here..
1/2 cup each of ground sesame and ground flax
2 tsp vanilla
2-4 tsp cinnamon-( to taste)
1/2 cup cold pressed olive oil
1 cup honey
Mix ingredients in a large bowl. Spread onto a large baking sheet (might need 2). Bake a t 325 for 20--25 min ( if you are going for crunchy I often up it to 350) Stir every 5 min or so. Cool and store in an airtight container. Serve with nutmilk or eat it plain! It is an awesome trailmix or cereal. For the kids I sometimes throw normal chocoalte chips in the mix- a cup of chips to all those fantastic nuts and seeds is a trade I would make any day! :)
